Corebridge Real Estate Investors (“CREI”) is a recognized real estate investor and developer with an active focus on multifamily and industrial product types. CREI has long-standing relationships with a deep network of high-quality real estate operators and developers. This individual will join the European CREI team based in London. The individual will be responsible for supporting the investment and asset management teams investing in various UK and European properties.
The individual will need to have strong financial and analytical capabilities, be able to make well-structured written recommendations and develop constructive relationships with internal colleagues, including asset management, acquisitions, and finance teams, together with external parties including partners, operators, property managers, lenders and other professionals.
As a Senior Analyst you will work on a variety of projects and transactions for asset types including multifamily, student and industrial. The daily responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Financial and feasibility analysis: Assisting in all phases of investment opportunities. This will include feasibility studies and other research for potential investments.
- Asset management: Management of existing portfolios of properties under construction, in lease-up or stabilized. This will include preparation and update of quarterly asset reports, preparation of property valuations, market research and analysis, recommendations and site visits both in the UK and Europe.
- Investment underwriting: Due diligence, managing documentation, site visits and investment closings.
- Market, economic and demographic research: To assist in evaluating markets for existing or potential investments.
- Financial modeling and analysis: Related to the monitoring of assets and preparing sell versus hold analyses.
- Preparation of written presentations: To investment committee in relation to proposed transactions.
- Support due diligence activities: For sales, purchases and financing.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ year of work experience in finance or real estate.
- Basic understanding of all aspects of property investment, development and financing processes, including but not limited to market analysis, financial analysis including property valuation, capital markets, project budgeting and scheduling.
- Strong financial analysis and excel modeling skills.
- Works independently and has a strong sense of organization.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and abilities; demonstrating confidence in building and effectively maintaining positive relationships with clients, partners, developers and co-workers.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Suite of products as well as Argus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines with commercial, solution-based approach.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Additional languages of French and or Spanish will be viewed favourably.
This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s London office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
