Job Opportunity: Senior Originator Location: UK remote with offices in Northern England and London – Ad hoc travel required Package: Competitive salary depending on experience plus up to 50% Bonus. Contract Type: Permanent We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Originator to join a pioneering clean tech company revolutionising local community energy. The ideal candidate will be a strategic business partner, responsible for driving the growth of our generation portfolio and expanding the number of generators on our peer-to-peer platform. About the Role: Reporting directly to the Director of Origination – PPA, you will play a critical role in coordinating the efforts of our Corporate Development and Optimisation teams, ensuring we continue to scale our platform effectively. You will oversee market conditions, optimise performance, and contribute to the success of our energy generation assets. Key Responsibilities: Manage the production, analysis, and reporting of current and future generation assets across the UK. Conduct regular market condition analyses and assess power flows, while staying informed on regulatory changes. Partner with the Finance Department to ensure precise and timely reporting on monthly and quarterly performance. Maintain full transparency on algorithmic matching metrics to maximise customer value and improve generation customer retention. Enhance control, analytical tools, and existing processes to align with the company’s growth objectives and P&L targets. Qualifications: Proven track record in negotiating and closing PPAs with various off-takers. Strong financial modelling and analytical expertise. In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy market, including regulatory and industry trends. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
