Senior Accountant. High-growth Fintech. London (Hybrid)

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, product‑led fintech building regulated financial products at serious scale.

This is not a box‑ticking accounting role. It’s a chance to sit close to decision‑making, work in ambiguity, and help shape how a modern finance function actually runs.

You’ll be joining a lean, high‑calibre accounting team, reporting into a senior finance leader who values judgement, pace, and ownership over process theatre.

The role

You’ll take ownership of key areas of the month‑end close and reporting cycle, while working closely with Product, Ops, and Tech to make sure the numbers reflect reality, not just theory.

This is a hands‑on role in a business that moves quickly. Priorities shift. Questions get asked. You’ll be expected to think, not just execute.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning elements of the month‑end close end‑to‑end in a fast‑moving environment
• Preparing technical accounting positions and supporting audit conversations
• Working through complex accounting areas where judgement matters, not just precedent
• Improving processes as you go. Not waiting for a “transformation project”
• Acting as a trusted point of contact within a wider cross‑functional business

What we’re looking for

• Background in audit (Big 4 / Top 10) and/or industry within fintech, payments, SaaS, or a listed group
• Strong IFRS fundamentals and curiosity to go deeper
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and pushing back when something doesn’t make sense
• Someone who wants responsibility and exposure, not just a safe next step
