Core3 are working with an ambitious, remote-first organisation to recruit a Finance Manager. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real ownership, broad exposure and the chance to grow with the business. You’ll be based remotely in the UK, with occasional travel to London.

Why join our client

Our client is a PE-backed, high-growth scale-up with a clear growth story and plenty of momentum. They’ve built a strong platform, continue to scale, and offer the pace and visibility that appeals to people who want to make a genuine mark. For a Finance Manager, this is a chance to join at a pivotal stage, take real ownership, and play a meaningful role in shaping a growing business.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Own the monthly management accounts process from start to finish
  • Deliver a timely, accurate month-end close and maintain strong balance sheet control
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support better decisions
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to improve reporting and financial understanding
  • Manage financial control across accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and cash
  • Support audit activity and act as a key contact for external advisers
  • Oversee multi-entity processes and keep reporting accurate and audit-ready
  • Improve finance processes, strengthen controls and streamline ways of working
  • Support payroll, tax and compliance activity with a clear eye for detail
  • Take ownership of finance projects and see them through from start to finish

Why you’re a great fit

You’ll be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong grounding in core accounting concepts. Experience in working in an SME environment and a track record in a hands-on finance role is essential. You’ll be comfortable owning management accounts, working through detail, and stepping up to lead conversations with auditors or external partners. You’ll also bring sound judgement, a proactive mindset and the confidence to work well in a remote setting. This Finance Manager role will suit someone who enjoys responsibility, thinks ahead, and wants to keep developing.

What you’ll get in return
