Our client has built an impressive portfolio of hospitality-led realestate venues across United Kingdom, with further expansion planned.
As the business continues to scale, they're looking for an Commercial Finance Analyst to become a key commercial partner, helping shape decisions across pricing, occupancy, budgeting and future growth.
This is far more than a reporting role.
You'll work closely with the CFO, Financial Controller and senior leadership team, building financial models from the ground up, influencing commercial strategy and providing insight that directly impacts business performance.
- What you'll be doing
- Build and maintain robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and long-term business planning.
- Partner with Sales, Operations and senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight that supports strategic decision making.
- Develop pricing models and analyse commercial opportunities to maximise revenue across the property portfolio.
- Produce scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling to support investment decisions, business cases and growth initiatives.
- Analyse occupancy, revenue and profitability trends across multiple locations, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Support annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts and monthly performance reviews.
- Evaluate office reconfigurations, refurbishment projects and Day 2 investment decisions through detailed financial analysis.
- Deliver meaningful management information and dashboards that turn complex data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Work alongside operational teams to understand key business drivers and improve financial performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, modelling and planning processes as the business continues to grow.
- Support ad hoc commercial projects, acquisitions and strategic initiatives as required.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience within data analysis, pricing analysis, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Financial Analysis.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to challenge, influence and support decision making.
- Advanced Excel skills, with confidence building sophisticated financial models from first principles.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Confident communicating financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Power BI experience would be advantageous.
- SQL knowledge would be beneficial but isn't essential.
- Experience within hospitality, real estate or another multi-site business would be highly desirable.
- Studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or a relevant degree would be advantageous, although practical commercial experience is equally valued.
- Work directly with an experienced CFO and leadership team, gaining exposure well beyond a traditional analyst role.
- Play a key role in shaping commercial decisions across an expanding national portfolio.
