Initial 6-month contract, with potential to extend. We’re working with a fast-scaling, PE-backed technology business in a specialist, high-demand market. The company is growing quickly across the UK and US and is now looking for a hands-on interim finance professional to support the CFO through a key period of change.
This is a brilliant role for a qualified accountant who enjoys getting stuck in, owning projects and making things happen. You’ll be joining a small finance team, so this is not a role where you’ll sit in a narrow lane — you’ll be visible, trusted and close to senior leadership.
The role will focus on:

- Embedding transfer pricing processes
- Helping ramp up a US entity
- Reviewing month-end numbers and commentary
- Acting as a right hand to the CFO on key finance projects
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Practice-trained candidates, including those coming out of audit, could work well here if they have the right attitude, pace and ownership mindset.
- Qualified accountant — ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
- Likely 1–3 years post-qualified, though level is flexible
- Strong technically, with good accounting fundamentals
- Comfortable in an SME / scale-up environment
- A genuine doer — proactive, logical and hands-on
- Confident communicating with senior stakeholders
- Happy working in a remote-first business
Why this is interesting: You’ll be joining at a genuinely exciting point: PE investment, US growth, finance systems change, BI improvements and a clear scale-up agenda. It’s a great opportunity to deliver visible projects that will shape the finance function for the next stage of growth.
