Core3 is working with a growing business based near Clevedon to recruit a qualified-by-experience Finance Manager to join their finance team.

How you will make an impact
- Raise invoices with customers and maintain control over payment terms, following up with customers to obtain payment as appropriate.
- Maintain control over the purchase ledger and assist the Director of Finance with weekly payment runs.
- Operate the company’s expenses system and integration into the accounting system.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and project specific accounting.
- Produce detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior management.
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Support year-end statutory accounts preparation and act as a key contact for external accountants.
- Maintain and improve financial controls and accounting policies.
- Take ownership of financial tracking of installation and service projects, including margin analysis.
- Partner with operational teams to monitor project profitability and cost performance.
- Support revenue recognition for long-term contracts and milestone billing.
- Provide financial insight to support pricing, tendering, and commercial decisions.
- Drive improvements in finance processes, reporting, and system utilisation (e.g., Sage).
- Support finance system upgrades, integrations, and reporting automation.
