How you'll make an impact
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing finance team
- Own the month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Review management accounts and maintain general ledger integrity
- Build and embed a robust financial control framework
- Deliver statutory reporting and support external requirements
- Manage audits and act as a key contact for auditors
- Partner with finance teams to improve processes and reporting
- Support budgeting and forecasting with reliable financial data
- Drive continuous improvement across financial control and reporting
Why you're a great fit
- You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong experience in financial control, month-end and management accounts
- Proven experience leading and developing a team
- Track record of improving processes and implementing controls
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
- Able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines
- Experience with statutory reporting and audit management - desirable
- Interest in systems, automation and process improvement (e.g. Power Apps) - desirable
