How you\’ll make an impactAs a Systems Accountant, you\’ll play a key role in delivering ERP implementations for a wide variety of customers, helping them streamline finance processes, unlock insights, and modernise their finance operations. You\’ll act as both a finance and systems expert – managing projects end‐to‐end, delivering training, and helping clients navigate change.

This is a hands‐on role suited to a qualified or part‐qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen and experience of implementing finance systems. Your ability to build relationships, simplify complexity, and deliver high‐quality outcomes will be critical to your success.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support ERP implementation projects from scoping to go‐live.

Deliver client workshops and system training to finance teams.

Optimise core finance processes across management accounting, multi‐entity reporting, and billing.

Collaborate with technical teams and senior stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.

Feed into pre‐sales, solution scoping, and development priorities.

Provide ongoing support, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal background

Part‐qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent).

Experience implementing ERP systems (e.g. Sage, Unit4, Oracle, Netsuite).

Solid grounding in management and financial accounting.

Understanding of multi‐currency, multi‐entity, and project accounting.

Excellent communication and problem‐solving skills.

Strong appetite to learn and work cross‐functionally.
