Working exclusively with a PE-backed SaaS business hiring a Senior Management Accountant to work directly with a highly regarded CFO as the company continues to scale. This is a broad, hands-on role in a lean finance team, offering exposure well beyond traditional management accounting. You will be close to leadership and involved across month end, operational finance and commercial insight, helping the CFO build a smarter, more efficient finance function.
The business is highly tech-driven, with a real focus on automation, smarter systems and using AI to improve how finance operates and supports decision making.
Responsibilities- Supporting month-end close and management reporting
- Producing KPI and performance reporting for leadership
- Supporting operational finance, including systems and spend platforms
- Providing commercial insight across projects, margins and performance
- Improving reporting tools, dashboards and finance processes
- Working closely with the CFO on analysis and business performance
- ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Background in SaaS, tech, consulting or project-led environments
- Strong management accounting, analysis and KPI reporting experience
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on scale-up environment
- Exposure to project accounting, project finance or time-tracked revenue models is a strong plus
- Tech-savvy, with an interest in automation and how AI can improve finance processes
- Reporting directly to a high-calibre CFO
- Ideally looking for someone with less than 3 months' notice
