Core3 are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic, fast‑growing group to recruit a talented Management Accountant in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping financial strategy and supporting commercial growth across a diverse set of businesses. Our client brings together multiple creative and project‑led organisations under one group structure, combining commercial drive with a collaborative culture. You will join a finance team that sits at the heart of strategic decision‑making, working closely with senior leaders to support continued growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Prepare financial and management reporting that guides commercial decisions.
- Monitor project performance across the group.
- Help shape financial processes as the business scales.
- Leading on month‑end close, with full ownership of gross profit reporting.
- Preparing timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
- Managing WIP, accrued and deferred income, and other balance sheet items.
- Overseeing accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset registers.
- Monitoring project budgets and highlighting variances.
- Managing sales ledger, invoicing, and client PO processes.
- Ensuring costs and expenses are billed accurately and promptly.
- Managing cash flow, aged debtors, and creditors.
- Analysing utilisation and job profitability.
- Supporting stakeholders with financial insights and commercial analysis.
- Assisting with VAT returns, audits, and statutory reporting.
