We are seeking a disciplined, high-standard Care Manager to lead the service. This is a role for a leader who values professional autonomy and wants to shape a growing organization from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee the daily delivery of high-quality, person-centered care.
  • CQC Excellence: Maintain full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding, and governance; lead quality improvement and preparation for inspections.
  • Team Development: Support, supervise, and develop the care team, managing workforce planning and retention.
  • Relationship Management: Build effective relationships with clients, families, advocates, and commissioners.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage care plans, risk assessments, and use digital systems for rostering and reporting.
  • Commitment: Lead by example with a flexible approach to work patterns, occasionally supporting the team with shift cover during emergencies to ensure service continuity.

About You (Requirements)

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Care Manager or Registered Manager (Domiciliary experience is highly preferred).
  • Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Candidates currently enrolled and studying for their Level 5 are encouraged to apply).
  • Track Record: Proven experience in achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' CQC outcomes.
  • Skills: Strong IT literacy, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Essentials: Must be a car owner with a full UK driving license.
