My Client is a nationwide HVAC installation company, currently looking to recruit an engineer to work on the warranty, service, and commissioning of their installations.
Refrigeration and A/C Maintenance Engineer qualified to a recognised level (City & Guilds). You will be required to undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance and reactive requirements, as well as highlighting the need for repairs, and submitting & undertaking quotations for any necessary remedial work accordingly. A company van, mobile phone, tablet, and uniform will be provided.
Location: Sites are nationwide, with approximately 85% located in and around the Home Counties.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
- Maintain and repair all kinds of air conditioning and refrigeration products in a commercial environment.
- Update Legal compliance documentation via a tablet (provided) to a high standard.
- Provide job and quote updates to satisfy the internal CAFM system, which provides live updates to clients.
- Manage your time and workload effectively and communicate regularly with your manager.
- Participate in a callout rota after a successful probation period.
- Essential: Extensive experience in chillers, refrigeration, and air conditioning.
- F-Gas Qualification.
- Ability to carry out repairs/replacement of plant, fixtures, and fittings.
- Perform servicing and repairs of onsite plant, fixtures, and fittings.
- Organise housekeeping tasks and arrangements.
- Good communication skills and a basic understanding of IT.
- Willingness to work overtime regularly to meet contract requirements.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Basic salary up to £50,000.
- Door-to-door travel.
- OTE of £60,000 plus.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Private healthcare.
