CORE Talent is excited to partner with our growing client, an established and growing professional services group, to expand their mortgage team in Yorkshire. The position is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy team, to help with incoming leads that come into the business. The role will include both virtual and face-to-face appointments, managing your own diary, with the support of the processing team, to support clients through the mortgage application process.
Responsibilities of the Mortgage Adviser position:
- Provide professional, independent mortgage advice and explain the different types of mortgages available
- Manage all underwriting queries, resolution of issues and produce decisions in principle for new cases prior to being passed over to the case management team
- Meet all departmental SLAs and targets
- Ensure all regulatory documentation is completed within the required timescale
Skills and background required for the Mortgage Adviser position:
- Experience giving regulated mortgage advice
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as CeMAP or CIID
- Driven to meet deadlines and targets, as the business has a significant lead pipeline
- Ability to work quickly, comfortable processing a high volume of work, while maintaining a focus on quality customer service
- Experience in whole of market mortgage advice is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
