Our client is a global design, development and manufacturer of highly engineered products. They have committed to a program of £Million's of investment to transform the way they manufacture by investing in automation and manufacturing excellence.

As a Hands-on Senior Manufacturing Engineer your role is to lead and support this Automation transformation across manufactured products. This drive for automation and continuous improvement will ultimately drive and deliver quality improvements, repeatability and efficiency in manufacturing. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will coordinate and manage Automation Capital Expenditure Projects & Programmes working with all internal and external stakeholders. Your role will also encompass manufacturing excellence and Manufacturing Engineering.

We are looking for Advanced Manufacturing Engineers who have experience of Automation Capital Expenditure programs in Manufacturing. We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with a mix of experience of Automation and Robotics as well as general Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities. Some of the skills required include:

  • Automation
  • Robotics
  • Jig and fixture design and procurement
  • 3D CAD knowledge and basic skills
  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Some appreciation of TAKT times

Any Manufacturing Engineers with experience from the automotive or aerospace industry is advantageous.
