Hvac Project Manager / Mechanical Project Manager

Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Mechanical Location: Oxfordshire, UK

Overview:
We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the mechanical package on a major £20 million manufacturing facility project in Oxfordshire. The role is site-based full-time and covers the project from pre-construction through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as the sole mechanical lead on site, reporting to the Project Director
Oversee the full mechanical scope, including HVAC, compressed air systems, and general building services
Lead planning, programming, and delivery of all mechanical works
Coordinate with design, commercial, and construction teams
Drive progress on site and manage all reporting lines into the mechanical function
Oversee procurement and manage subcontractors
Ensure adherence to budget, programme, and quality standards
Represent the mechanical team in all key project meetings

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager on large-scale mechanical projects
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in manufacturing or industrial settings
Commercially astute with experience in budgeting, procurement, and cost control
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
Confident driving programme and managing teams through all phases of delivery
Ability to work independently while aligning with the wider project strategy
