Power Electronics design engineer

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits for high?integrity applications.
• Analyse, model, and evaluate electronic circuit performance.
• Generate and refine system?level and component?level requirements.
• Produce accurate schematic designs and documentation.
• Provide guidance on PCB layout and perform layout reviews.
• Support a variety of engineering tasks across projects and programmes.
• Participate in technical reviews, internal meetings, and customer discussions.
• Engage directly with customers to address technical and project-related topics.
• Document all work in accordance with internal processes and quality standards.

Qualifications / skills required

Essential

• Defence Experience
• HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Quick learner with adaptable, flexible working style.
• Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Proficient in analogue and digital circuit design.
• Experience with schematic capture and drawing review.
• Circuit simulation experience.
• Wiring definition and documentation experience.
• Understanding of PCB layout supervision and design considerations.
• Eligibility to obtain full SC security clearance.
