We are seeking an experienced

BMS Design Engineer to join a leading systems integrator and automation company delivering mission-critical projects within the data centre sector.

Working remotely, you will be responsible for designing Building Management System (BMS) solutions, producing technical documentation, and supporting the delivery of complex automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop BMS solutions for hyperscale and enterprise data centre projects.
  • Produce control philosophies, network architectures, panel designs, points schedules, and system documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, software engineers, and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure designs comply with client specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.
  • Provide technical support throughout project delivery, from concept through commissioning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in BMS design within critical infrastructure or data centre environments.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS platforms, controls, and automation systems.
  • Experience with

Ignition (Inductive Automation) is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, and other industrial communication protocols.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
