About The Role
Please note: this is a fixed term contract for 12 months to cover MAT leave. We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Oncology team in an office-based role in Spondon, Derby. You will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of oncology services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and managing oncology prescriptions on electronic prescribing platforms
- Carrying out pharmaceutical and legality checks on prescriptions
- Supporting our batch production and B2B oncology services
This is a desk-based position that requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple IT systems.

About You
You will be a qualified Pharmacy Technician with a BTEC, NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science, or equivalent qualification, and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). You'll have excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance, alongside the confidence to work across multiple IT systems and quickly adapt to new technologies. We're looking for a collaborative team player who enjoys working with colleagues across the business, can take ownership of projects, and is motivated to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
