The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and experienced Class 1 C+E Shunter Driver to collect barrels and kegs from a local brewery and return them to the depot.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Class 1 driver looking for regular local work, with a short 3-mile round trip and no long-distance driving.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect barrels and kegs from the brewery and transport them back to the depot.
- Safely manoeuvre and position the vehicle at the brewery and depot.
- Ensure loads are secure and transported safely.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
- Good vehicle manoeuvring and reversing skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious, with a professional attitude.
Working Pattern & Pay
- Annual salary: £36,105.62.
- Week 1: Monday to Friday.
- Week 2: Monday to Thursday.
- Alternating two-week working pattern.
- Local driving with a 3-mile round trip between the brewery and depot. xwwtmva
