We have an exciting opportunity with our client, we are currently seeking several skilled Welders to join our clients team. The successful applicants will join our team of day welders – platers, welding a wide variety of components, mainly in mild steel using MIG welding equipment. The components will range from small piece part components to large hoppers and tipper bodies for our commercial vehicles. Pay: Please Note Pay Rate, Travel Allowance & Bonus Structures for this Role Base Rate – Negotiable dependant on experience (£13-£15.80) Bonus – Paid on every hour worked (Over the last 2 years has averaged at £1.20 for every hour worked, Paid Monthly) Overtime- Paid at 1.5 times hourly rate Hours- 39 Hours Per week – Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm with an hour lunch break each day Travel allowance- * Over 15 miles out up to 25 miles(30/50 mile round trip) £5.50 per day * Over 25 miles out (50+ miles round trip) £8.35 per day Requirements: The applicant should be able to read engineering drawings and plate these prior to finish welding them.
