We are seeking a skilled and motivated Armada Turret Punch and 3m Brake Press Setter/Operator to join our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting and operating sheet metal machinery to manufacture components for acoustic housing kits of various sizes. The position requires physical activity, including medium lifting, and is ideal for a fit individual with manufacturing or assembly experience. Hours & Pay Shift Pattern 2pm-10pm. Pay Rate- Starting £32,000. Responsibilities · Machine Setting and Operating: o Set up and operate the Amada Turret Punch and 3m Brake Press for sheet metal fabrication. o Optimize machine settings for efficiency and precision. o Perform routine maintenance and address basic machine issues. · Sheet Metal Production: o Produce high-quality components for acoustic housing kits, adhering to technical specifications. o Ensure timely completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment. · General Support: o Assist in assembly operations as needed. o Handle materials and perform medium lifting. · Team Collaboration: o Work closely with team members to meet production goals. o Foster a collaborative and autonomous working environment. Experience o Proven experience in setting and operating turret punches and brake presses. o Familiarity with sheet metal manufacturing processes. o Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. o Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for machine operation. o Capable of medium lifting and maintaining an active role in a physically demanding environment. o Forklift Truck License is advantageous but not essential.
