Commercial Fit Out Projects
We’re looking for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across Central London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious QS with a strong MEP background to take responsibility for the commercial management of projects and play a key role in their successful delivery.
The Role
- Manage the commercial aspects of MEP packages from pre-construction through to completion
- Prepare and manage budgets, valuations, variations and final accounts
- Manage procurement and subcontractor packages
- Monitor project costs, forecasts and commercial performance
- Review and negotiate subcontractor applications and accounts
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities
- Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, clients and subcontractors
- Provide accurate commercial reporting and cost advice
- Support the successful delivery of high-value commercial fit-out projects
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying
- Strong MEP / Building Services background
- Commercial fit-out experience highly desirable
- Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical packages
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Experience with subcontract procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience
