My client is a M&E contractor seeking a Technical /Design director due to continued growth in the UK. You will come from the following background, a senior M&E engineer or design leader or you may already be a Technical Manager or Technical Director, looking for a change to shape the next generation of mission-critical data centres.
Ensure the highest of quality and standards. We’re seeking a Technical Director to drive engineering excellence across complex, high-profile projects.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the full project lifecycle – design, construction, commissioning, handover
- Mentor and manage design managers, senior engineers & commissioning managers
- Oversee HVAC, UPS, electrical distribution, fire & life safety, and BMS systems
- Set engineering standards, solve complex challenges & drive innovation
What you bring:
- Senior mechanical/electrical or design consultancy background
- Proven delivery on complex, mission-critical projects
- Leadership of multidisciplinary teams

- Chartered engineer or equivalent (highly desirable)
