Overview
Core Group is looking for an Electrical / Fire Alarm Engineer to support a client project across sites in the Taunton/Bridgwater area. This is a short-term role to provide cover while the client completes their internal recruitment process. All sites are located close to each other, allowing a high volume of daily service visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out weekly fire alarm testing
- Perform monthly emergency lighting servicing
- Complete approximately 28 service visits per day
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards
- Record and report faults, maintenance, and service activities
- Work efficiently across multiple nearby sites
Requirements
- Electrical background with experience servicing fire alarm systems
- Valid CSCS card, ECS card
- Proven experience working on construction or commercial sites
- Must be local to Taunton / Bridgwater area
- Able to provide 2 checkable references
- Available for an immediate start
