We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multiple construction sites and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role. You must be organised, decisive, and comfortable managing people, paperwork, and performance.

You will:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple live sites
  • Manage and support Site Managers and Supervisors
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with H&S requirements
  • Review and manage RAMS, programmes, and site documentation
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and materials
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
  • Identify issues early and resolve them without drama
  • Maintain quality, productivity, and cost control
  • Carry out regular site visits and inspections

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Valid CSCS card
  • SMSTS or SSSTS – in date
  • Proven experience in a construction operations / senior site role
  • Experience overseeing multiple sites simultaneously
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident with paperwork, planning, and reporting
  • Ability to manage people and underperformance
  • Full UK driving licence
