How to prepare for a job interview at Core Recruiter

Know Your PPE

Make sure you’re familiar with the personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the role. Be ready to discuss your experience with high visibility gear, hard hats, and steel toe capped boots. Showing that you understand the importance of safety on site will impress your interviewers.

Showcase Your Experience

Prepare to talk about your previous onsite experience in detail. Think of specific examples where you used machinery, cut and bent materials, or assisted others. This will demonstrate your hands-on skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Bring References

Since two working references are required, have them ready to share during the interview. It’s a good idea to inform your references beforehand so they can expect a call. This shows you’re organised and professional.

Ask Questions

Don’t forget to prepare a few questions to ask at the end of the interview. Inquire about the team you'll be working with or the types of projects you might be involved in. This shows your interest in the role and helps you gauge if it’s the right fit for you.
