Permanent Construction Director – Ipswich

Core Recruiter are recruiting for a Construction Director for a contractor based in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Director who holds a wealth of construction knowledge in refurbishment and new build construction.

Qualifications/Experience

  1. Relevant qualification in Project Management or Construction Management
  2. Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), not essential but a bonus
  3. An in-depth understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques
  4. Experience working on refurbishment and new build projects at a large scale
  5. Strong familiarity with construction and project management software tools
  6. Liaising with clients
  7. Monitoring and reporting on project progress
  8. Managing risks
  9. Coordinating and managing the client, contractors and designers
  10. Implementing various operations through proper coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting, and construction in the entire process
