PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN OPERATIONS MANAGER IN NORFOLK.
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multiple construction sites and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role. You must be organised, decisive, and comfortable managing people, paperwork, and performance.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple live sites
- Manage and support Site Managers and Supervisors
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with H&S requirements
- Review and manage RAMS, programmes, and site documentation
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and materials
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Identify issues early and resolve them without drama
- Maintain quality, productivity, and cost control
- Carry out regular site visits and inspections
- Valid CSCS card
- SMSTS or SSSTS – in date
- Proven experience in a construction operations / senior site role
- Experience overseeing multiple sites simultaneously
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident with paperwork, planning, and reporting
- Ability to manage people and underperformance
- Full UK driving licence
