We have numerous exciting FULL TIME REMOTE vacancies for Prescribing Pharmacists and Non‑Prescribing Clinical Pharmacists and PCN Clinical Pharmacists. The post holder will be an experienced Clinical Pharmacist, PCN Pharmacist or Practice Pharmacist who is enthusiastic about making a tangible difference to patients' lives. Applicants MUST have previous general practice experience or prior experience working as a GP Pharmacist.
Main duties of the job:
- Independent prescribing qualification for prescribing pharmacist (not essential for non‑prescribing roles).
- Qualification or enrolment on CPPE Clinical Pharmacist Training pathway – offered for PCN pharmacists to enhance their clinical acumen.
- Strong clinical leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and good understanding of PCN Pharmacist working.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the improvement of health outcomes in long‑term conditions.
- Provide specialist knowledge and advice on pharmaceutical matters.
- Review patients’ acute medication requests.
- Complete discharge and clinic letters.
- Draw up structured medication reviews as PCN Pharmacist.
- Advise and support patients with self‑limiting conditions.
- Support practice achievement of key Impact and Investment Fund targets and QOF targets for GP Pharmacist or Practice Pharmacist.
Qualifications:
- GPHC Registered.
- Independent prescribing qualification (not essential for non‑prescribing roles).
- Eligibility to enroll in CPPE Clinical Pharmacist Training pathway.
