CORE POWER was founded in 2018 to solve the world's energy challenges by delivering ship-based power directly to the industries and economies driving global prosperity, overcoming the barriers that have held nuclear energy back. CORE POWER builds, integrates and deploys ship-based nuclear energy systems. We build and support two classes of vessel: moored ship-shaped power plants, or FNPPs, that generate high-density energy, and nuclear-powered commercial ships that will speed up global trade.

We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Management Associate to join our team at our headquarters in Chiswick. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this office-based role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the inner workings of a dynamic and growing business. You will gain exposure to a broad range of business initiatives and be developed with the tools, skills and insights needed to excel in the business world. Through hands-on project involvement, taking minutes in board and senior management meetings, and gaining exposure to the company’s operations, strategies and culture, you will develop a strong understanding of how a successful organisation operates and grows.

This development-focused role is ideal for a recent graduate with up to two years of professional experience who has also completed an MBA and is looking to accelerate their career within a fast-paced business environment. Job Requirements:

  • Help with project planning and implementation.
  • Analyse market data for strategic decisions.
  • Assist in preparing board materials and strategic presentations.
  • Assist with the development of corporate strategy and key business decisions.
  • Take minutes in board meetings.
  • Track strategic priorities and ensure execution against commitments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives sponsored by the CEO.
  • Support management of confidential and high-priority projects.
  • Prepare briefing notes ahead of meetings, conferences, and investor discussions.
  • Take minutes in senior management meetings.
  • Assist in setting up strategic management meetings and investor meetings as required.
  • Propose ways to increase business operations.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day tasks.
  • Create reports for management.
  • Address customer needs for satisfaction and relationships.
  • Support the CEO with administrative tasks.

Educational Requirements:

An MBA from a top tier business school.

Work Experience:

The candidate should preferably have some experience in a corporate role. Experience in the shipping or energy industries is advantageous but not compulsory.
