Core Highways is a leading provider of temporary traffic management, barrier solutions and events signage. We currently have a vacancy in our Garboldisham depot for a full time Yard Person.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the general maintenance and housekeeping of the depot yard, including:
- Charging batteries
- Sign making
- Trailer servicing
- Traffic light servicing
- Minor vehicle repairs
- Sign repairs
- Picking equipment for work
- Maintain the yard in an efficient, orderly and clean fashion
- Loading of vehicles and all associated tasks as required
Qualifications
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Full and valid UK driving licence
- Self‑motivated
- Work well under pressure
- Good organisation skills
