As a nationwide business, we have a number of fulfilling roles and we're often looking to expand our teams as we continue to grow. We currently have a vacancy for a Contracts Manager to cover our Midlands Region. This role is primarily remote but will require regular travel across the Midlands region and can be based from any of our depots in the area.

Reporting in to the Regional Operations Manager this role will be responsible for managing technical and commercial aspects of given contracts or schemes, communicating and liaising with the Client and Depot team to ensure effective delivery in line with customer requirements and in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve contract disputes.
  • Pricing of schemes to ensure commercial viability.
  • Produce technical designs of contracts/schemes in accordance with Customer and other requirements.
  • Liaise with Customer on contract/scheme performance and feed back to all relevant departments.
  • Communicate contract and scheme requirements to the depot team in a timely manner.
  • Manage sub-contractors if applicable to ensure contract/scheme delivered to target schedule and budget.
  • Process applications and invoices in accordance with given deadlines.
  • The production of compliant design schemes to deadline.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report the commercial performance of given contracts/schemes.
  • Meet process application/invoicing deadlines.
  • Production of compliant technical design/information to the operational delivery team within deadline.

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive Traffic Management knowledge, experience and qualifications are essential.
  • An understanding of the processes required for Traffic Management design sign off and application/invoicing is essential.
