We currently have a vacancy for a Night Time Supervisor. Reporting in to the Depot Manager, this role will be responsible for supervision of operational services overnight.

This role will be based in our Nuneaton Depot.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationship with key stake holders – Customers, Local Authorities, and the wider team.
  • Highlight opportunities for business development and growth within the region.
  • Lead out of hours call outs supporting the out of hours team by ensure the correct operatives are utilised.
  • Plan/allocate emergency out of hours works. including ensure the correct plant & equipment is used.
  • Supporting the smooth and safe running of the operations ensuring tasks and operational activities are carried out safely, efficiently and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • To support on site delivery and operational staff on site to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of our services on site across the region.
  • Ensure the teams provide excellent customer service to the general public.
  • Undertake daily site audits across the region and all its depots ensuring compliance and quality levels.
  • Undertaking site surveys and meeting with clients were required across the region.
  • Ensure operatives provide good quality job packs and site records.
  • Support staff out of hours assisting with enquiries and traffic management support.
  • Be a visible and hands on acting as a role model for others.
  • Undertake safety and compliance audits and ensure that all Health and Safety issues including near misses are appropriately reported and recorded.
  • Support the Depot Manager to ensure that operational delivery overnight is effective and compliant, carried out safely and efficiently so that required performance objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Responsibility for the Operatives on duty, their workload and scheduling to maximise effectiveness.
  • Strong collaboration with Delivery Managers to share resources.
  • Ensuring that all equipment and job packs are ready and expectations of Operatives are clearly communicated.

Skills and Experience

  • Traffic Management experience is required
  • TSCO/TSS Qualification is required
  • Ability to successfully lead and manage an operational team.
  • Delivery and customer service focused.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple competing demands in a pressurised delivery environment.
  • Organised with good attention to detail and ability to solve problems as they arise.
  • Resilient and self-motivated with a personal drive for continuous improvement.
  • Able to coach and develop others towards improvement.
  • Can actively contribute to group initiatives such as the Streamline Programme, role modelling to others.
