Core Highways is a leading provider of temporary traffic management, barrier solutions and events signage. We currently have a vacancy in our Garboldisham depot for a full time Yard Person.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the general maintenance and housekeeping of the depot yard, including:
  • Charging batteries
  • Sign making
  • Trailer servicing
  • Traffic light servicing
  • Minor vehicle repairs
  • Sign repairs
  • Picking equipment for work
  • Maintain the yard in an efficient, orderly and clean fashion
  • Loading of vehicles and all associated tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Good mechanical knowledge
  • Full and valid UK driving licence
  • Self‑motivated
  • Work well under pressure
  • Good organisation skills
