N ortheast region based in our Middlesborough Depot.

Reporting in to the Regional Operations Manager – High Speed, this person will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple high-speed contracts simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and completing projects in line with, or under budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all works under your control are 'target priced'/quoted in line with the commercial strategy.
  • In collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor, ensure that all costs are billed accurately.
  • Participate and contribute to scheme planning meetings/customer site or pre-let meetings, when requested.
  • Establishing client requirements and liaising with relevant departments in order to produce suitable traffic management designs to enable teams to complete work accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure work conforms to applicable requirements and specifications.
  • To liaise with site staff to ensure works are delivered as planned/agreed.
  • Liaise with the relevant teams to action any changes to scheme drawings as instructed.
  • Plan workload to ensure scheme drawings are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • To get any/all sub-con authorised prior to quote being accepted.
  • Invoices in line with quoted works for all sub-con before sending for authorisation.
  • Ensure thorough H/O's are issued detailing site-specific requirements and all relevant contact information.

Skills and Experience

  • Understanding of booking road space for Local Authority and National Highways
  • Experience in the design and planning of High Speed Sector Traffic Management
  • Experience in Contract Management of TM specifically within 12AB High Speed work desirable but not essential
  • IHE Membership desirable
