As a nationwide business, we have a number of fulfilling roles and we're often looking to expand our teams as we continue to grow. We currently have a vacancy for a Depot Co-Ordinator at our Blandford Forum Depot.
The Role: Reporting to the depot manager you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the leadership team and be pivotal in the running of the depot by carrying out your activities as well as being flexible with supporting any ad hoc depot requirements. A positive can-do attitude to work is essential in an extremely reactive environment.
Duties will include:
- Manage the delivery of all workload through the operational team
- Ensure correct level of qualifications are adhered to when programming works delivery
- Manage vehicles at operational level
- Check vehicle defects and programme repairs where necessary
- Review Samsara and escalate issues where appropriate
- Carry out regular spot checks to ensure vehicles are maintained to an acceptable standard
- Working with your admin team you will assign mobile jobs daily and ensure all relevant processes are followed by operational teams
- Check risk assessments are being completed
- Check appropriate site images are being captured daily
- Check site clearances are actioned in line with company policy
- During busy periods you may be required to support the depot workload operationally
The Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will have excellent people skills and will be highly organised with a good attention to detail. You will also have strong IT skills. Full training will be provided. Previous experience in the hire or construction industry would be highly advantageous but is not essential. Priority will be given to applications from candidates who hold T6 or M7 tickets.
