Warehouse Maintenance Electrician – Heathrow Area
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 4-day week (10-hour shifts)
Location: Slough / Heathrow Area (must be able to commute or relocate)
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Maintenance Electrician to join our team, maintaining and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems within an industrial/warehouse setting. Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative planned maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults promptly to minimise downtime.
- Install, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Work under the Permit to Work system when required.
- Accurately track, document, and report all maintenance activities via the Computerised Maintenance System.
- Support on emergency call-outs on a rostered basis and be willing to work away from home on occasion.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and company safety policies.
Skills & Experience Required
- Time-served in an Electrical Engineering Discipline.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in electrical engineering (industrial/warehouse experience preferred).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical equipment (advantageous).
- Understanding of PLC and Drive Systems (advantageous).
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently with a clean DBS record.
- Must be able to provide 5 years’ verifiable work history (no gaps) to obtain an airside pass.
