Experienced Inhouse Recruitment & Account Manager in Construction

Location: Nottingham, on site

Paying: £45k - £50k + bonus

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Inhouse Recruitment Account Manager (no cold calling involved) to take ownership of the labour process for our client in Nottingham. Your job is to make sure we have the right people, in the right places, at the right time - and that the whole process runs smoothly. You’ll oversee labour requirements across our sites, working closely with Site Managers, Contracts Managers and the wider operational team, as well as Core’s resourcing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking ownership of all labour requirements across our clients' sites.
  • Acting as the main link between the client and agency ensuring requirements are understood and delivered.
  • Overseeing a workforce of up to 200 operatives, including labourers, storemen, fire cladders and other construction trades.
  • Working closely with sites to understand current and future labour requirements.
  • Attending our weekly Friday pipeline meeting to understand upcoming projects, locations and likely trade requirements.
  • Overseeing onboarding, compliance, right-to-work checks, timesheets and general labour processes.
  • Looking at the current process and bringing your own ideas to make it simpler, smoother and more effective.

What We’re Looking For

Someone who has experience as an Account Manager, Inhouse Recruitment, Labour Manager, ideally within temporary construction labour. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Understands construction and the demands of site labour.
  • Enjoys the fast-paced nature of temporary labour.
  • Is confident managing relationships with clients, sites and recruitment teams.
