Ofsted Registered Manager Location: The Spruces, London, CR2 Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum About the Role: We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 5-bed children’s home in London. This is a fantastic chance to shape and develop a high-quality service from the ground up, supporting vulnerable children in a safe and nurturing environment. As the Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the operation, management, and compliance of the home, ensuring it meets the highest standards set by Ofsted. You will lead a team of skilled professionals, delivering care and support that makes a positive impact on children’s lives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 5-bed children’s home, ensuring a safe, supportive, and child-focused environment. Manage and supervise a team of carers, ensuring they are well-trained, supported, and motivated. Develop and implement care plans for the children, ensuring individual needs are met. Monitor and review service delivery in line with Ofsted standards and regulations. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders, building positive relationships with families and professionals. Key Requirements: Must hold Level 3 in Residential Childcare and Level 5 in Leadership and Management. At least 2 years’ experience at a supervisory level within an Ofsted Children’s Home. Proven ability to manage and lead a team in a care setting. Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s social care legislation. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. A full driving licence is strongly favourable but not essential. Benefits: Competitive salary up to £60,000.
