Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of commercial fit-out work across London, they are looking to appoint an Electrical Pre-Construction Engineer to join their expanding Pre-Construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer or Building Services Engineer looking to move away from a site-based role and into a more strategic, office-based position, supporting projects from tender stage through to award. The Role Working closely with the estimating, design, commercial, and operational teams, you'll play a key role in developing technical solutions, coordinating design information, and supporting successful project bids across a range of prestigious commercial fit-out schemes. Projects typically range from £2m - £10m MEP value, providing exposure to fast-paced and technically challenging environments. Key Responsibilities Review tender documentation, specifications, and employer requirements Assist in the preparation of technical tender submissions and proposals Support estimating teams with technical input and value engineering solutions Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors during bid stages Review electrical designs and identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings Produce and manage technical submissions, RFIs, and design clarifications Assist with procurement strategies and subcontractor engagement Assess project risks and opportunities throughout the pre-construction phase Coordinate information between pre-construction and delivery teams Support project handover activities following successful tender awards Requirements Experience working for an Electrical, Building Services, or MEP Contractor Current or previous experience as an Electrical Project Engineer Strong understanding of electrical building services installations Ability to review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation HNC, HND, or Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (preferred) Strong communication and organisational skills Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery processes Desire to build a long-term career within pre-construction Package & Benefits £75,000 - £85,000 Basic Salary Full Travel Expenses Covered Performance-Related Bonus Private Healthcare Company Pension Scheme Death in Service Cover Hybrid Working Available Regular Company Social Events Ongoing Training & Development Clear Progression Path within Pre-Construction and Project Delivery Why Apply?
