A leading M&E contractor is seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support multiple high‑profile projects across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering complex engineering packages across commercial, residential, and mission‑critical sectors.

Role Overview: As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will ensure safe working environments across a variety of live construction and M&E sites. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits across multiple project locations
  • Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation, company procedures, and industry standards
  • Support site teams with RAMS reviews, toolbox talks, and induction processes
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports and corrective actions
  • Deliver up‑to‑date H&S training and guidance to project and site staff
  • Maintain documentation, records, and reporting in line with HSE requirements
  • Promote a positive safety culture across all project environments

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within construction or M&E environments
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations and site safety protocols
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage site teams
  • Flexible and able to travel between sites across Central London
