A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer (Fire Bias) to join a regional team operating across Leeds and West Yorkshire. This is a field-based role focused primarily on the service, maintenance, and fault-finding of commercial fire detection systems, working with established clients in education, healthcare, retail and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive servicing of Fire Alarm Systems
  • Fault-finding, diagnostics and remedial works on addressable and conventional fire panels
  • Occasional small works and minor commissioning if required
  • Accurate completion of reports, worksheets and compliance documentation
  • Working to British Standards (BS 5839) and site-specific safety procedures
  • Providing a professional service and maintaining strong client relationships

Desired Experience

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer
  • Good working knowledge of leading fire panels (e.g., Advanced, Kentec, C-TEC, Gent, Morley)
  • Ability to work independently across commercial environments
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Bonus (not essential): Experience with CCTV, Access Control or Intruder Alarms
