Overview
Location: Nottingham or Wymondham, Norwich
Hybrid minimum 3 days per week in the office
Duration: 6 months
Bill rate: max GBP 44 p/h
Responsibilities:
- Design engineering solutions for fire suppression and production systems.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure mechanical solutions meet customer requirements and industry standards (CAFS, INERT Fire Suppression Systems, HPU, Chemical Injection Packages, etc.).
Skills / Experience / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Proven knowledge of product design
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
- Ability to work under pressure
