Role Overview

We are currently recruiting experienced Industrial Paint Sprayers to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment with both day and afternoon shift opportunities available. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled industrial painters seeking stable, long-term employment within a supportive and well-structured production setting. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality industrial coating applications while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and apply industrial coatings to a high standard
  • Operate airless, air-assisted, and conventional spray systems
  • Mix and apply two-pack (2K) paints including epoxy primers
  • Carry out surface preparation, masking, and finishing work
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and specification compliance
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Follow technical drawings, specifications, and job instructions accurately
  • Ensure all work meets inspection-level finish standards

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in industrial spray painting within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using airless spray systems is essential
  • Experience with air-assisted or conventional pressure pot spray guns
  • Strong understanding of two-pack paint systems (2K)
  • Experience applying epoxy primers and protective coatings
  • Knowledge of surface preparation and masking techniques
  • Ability to consistently achieve high-quality finishes
  • Strong awareness of health & safety within an industrial/shop floor environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions accurately

Not Suitable For

Candidates with only the following backgrounds will not be considered:

  • Domestic painting and decorating only
  • Automotive body shop experience without industrial exposure
  • Brush and roller-only painting backgrounds
  • No spray system experience
  • No two-pack or epoxy coating experience

Working Hours

Day Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm, 40 hours per week

Afters Shift: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, includes 20% shift allowance
