Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.71 - 20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week, with overtime available

Core Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator to join a well-established and growing business.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication of structural steelwork and steel-framed building components, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate steel components from General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
  • Ensure all fabrication work is completed to a high standard of quality.
  • Use and maintain workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive workshop environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in steel fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret GA drawings.
  • Experience working with steel-framed structures is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated.
  • Experience using a variety of fabrication tools and workshop equipment.
  • MIG welding experience would be advantageous.
