Core Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator to join a well-established and growing business.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication of structural steelwork and steel-framed building components, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate steel components from General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
- Ensure all fabrication work is completed to a high standard of quality.
- Use and maintain workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.
- Contribute to a positive and productive workshop environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in steel fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret GA drawings.
- Experience working with steel-framed structures is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Experience using a variety of fabrication tools and workshop equipment.
- MIG welding experience would be advantageous.
