My client is a growing M&E and construction business delivering a range of commercial projects across London, with values reaching GBP15m. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an ambitious Health & Safety professional to play a key role in building and shaping the H&S function from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants more than just maintaining standards. You'll have the chance to influence processes, implement new ideas, and become a driving force behind the company's health & safety culture as the team expands.
The Role
- – Lead and develop the company's Health & Safety strategy across multiple commercial projects
- – Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- – Support project teams in maintaining best practice and compliance
- – Review and improve policies, procedures, and safety systems
- – Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- – Deliver training, toolbox talks, and promote a positive safety culture
- – Work closely with senior leadership to help build and grow the H&S department
What They're Looking For
- – Health & Safety Manager or Senior Advisor looking for the next step
- – NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)
- – Experience within construction, M&E, fit out, or commercial projects
- – Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence stakeholders
- – Someone proactive, driven, and keen to contribute ideas
