About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Fire, Security & CCTV Supervisor to support key projects in Cardiff for a minimum duration of 2 months. This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone who can lead engineers on-site while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate engineers working on fire alarm, security, and CCTV systems
- Oversee daily site operations to ensure work is completed on time and to specification
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and quality assurance checks
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and health & safety regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers
- Assist with installation, servicing, and fault finding when required
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and progress updates
Requirements:
- Proven experience with fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience is essential
- Strong understanding of British Standards (e.g. BS5839)
- Ability to manage teams and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
