Mechanical Project Manager
Windlesham, Surrey
£75,000 - £85,000+ Package (DOE)
Contract option available: £400 - £450 per day
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading M&E contractor delivering works on a pharmaceutical campus in Windlesham.
This role would suit a Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction projects. Previous pharmaceutical or high-level laboratory experience is not essential, as the project is largely commercial in nature, incorporating some medical gas installations.
The Role
- Lead and manage mechanical building services packages from inception through to completion
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
- Attend and lead project progress meetings
- Manage commissioning activities and oversee project handover
- Monitor project performance and provide regular reporting to senior management
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E sector
- Experience delivering commercial projects valued from several million pounds upwards
- Strong understanding of HVAC, public health and mechanical building services installations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Medical gas experience would be advantageous but is not essential
